The Nobletree Royal Roast Imperial micro-lot whole bean is a 12-ounce bag of specialty 100% Arabica beans from our Rainforest Alliance Certified Santa Izabel Farm in Minas Gerais, Brazil. The hand-picked heirloom yellow bourbon beans represent the finest of the year's harvest and are available in limited quantity. Imperial is a Fair Trade USA Certified premium espresso roast that features notes of chocolate, sweet, and hazelnut with a well-rounded and pleasant aftertaste.

Our prestigious Royal Roast Imperial beans are sorted and processed separately from other lots and are traceable to single acres and harvest dates. Each plot grows a different coffee varietal, depending on shade, sunlight, altitude, and the direction the plot faces. Our award-winning Nobletree Royal Roast Imperial micro-lot begins on terraced, mountainside soil on our farm at an altitude of 3,500 feet.

Our Royal Roast coffee cherries are cultivated by Nobletree Farm Director Humberto Florezi Filho using sustainable practices - incorporating soil, crop, and ecology analysis. Fermenting in an oxygen-deprived environment creates a different taste, crafting the proper micro-lot coffee notes. Beans are then artisan roasted at our facility in the Red Hook neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY, to create a creamy coffee that is SQF certified for food safety and quality. Our facility also features a green storage area, a probat roaster, and an SCAA certified teaching lab.
